Shubha Sarma, an IAS Officer, has recently written an anthology of stories dubbed as 'Fly on The Wall & Other Stories'. This anthology is about to release in the starting of the month of August. The author has put to pen the various facets of life and the narrative of each story is done with a sense of detachment and precision, yet compassionate in tone.
The anthology consist of 13 short stories that are rich in plot and language having an unpredictable twist. The subjects of these stories range from the NRI settings to rural and remote places like Odisha, Assam etc. The stories are interesting and have a sense of suspense that will attract all people of all ages and from different walks of life. There is one story called 'Flesh And Blood', where Dipankar, an NRI in US yearns for his homeland Assam and on his return he finds himself a stranger over there.
