Amartya Kumar Sen, (born 3 November 1933) is an Indian economist. Piyush Jha, a Bollywood film actor-director published his first crime fiction called Mumbaistan, which happened to be a compilation of 3 short novels. The book became an instant favorite with all especially with the people who share the same love and affection as the author for the Mumbai city.

He adapted to this place very quickly and in fact he became successful in preventing the young men to join the naxalite forces.
In the ‘The Compass Box Killer’, Virkar is presented with a challenge to track down a shrewd, ruthless, serial killer who is on the loose and who leaves traces for Virkar hidden in the compass box. In the words of Jha, Virkar is “an underdog. That’s what I love about him!He believes in justice but believes it is never delivered.”

Ahmedabad India; June 19, 2013: The Times of India is celebrating its 175 anniversary and as a part of this grand celebration, Sports Historian Boria Majumdar has launced a book called 'Sporting Times'. This unique book giving insight into the past 175 years of sports history was launched recently by the three sports icons: Sachin Tendulkar, Abhinav Bindra and the writer himself Boria Majumdar.
