Gwyneth Paltrow latest Cookbook Promotes the Mantra Eat Healthy and Live Happy

Thursday, July 11, 2013 - 0 Comments

Gwyneth Paltrow, the A-Star Hollywood actress enjoys cooking and sharing her recipes through her books. She has already published cookbooks twice and now her latest one is up for sale. It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great is the new cookbook by Paltrow along with her friend Julia Turshenm.

Platrow got inspired to make this incredible recipe book because she wished to share her healthy food recipes with all. She is fond of cooking for her family and especially her children and while doing so she makes sure that what they eat is healthy and nutritious.

She adds that, “My philosophy is: eat good, fresh food that is totally delicious. It has to taste great and be fulfilling to all of the senses. We know so much now about how inextricably linked our food is to our overall health. The bottom line is, our bodies have a hard time with anything processed. That doesn't only mean kool-aid and goldfish. White flour, white rice and soy milk are all heavily processed as well. I know from my own research that the more whole the diet, the better I feel. I wanted to do this book so I would have a mini encyclopedia of truly delicious recipes that were healthful and nourishing, and above all easy (I am an insanely busy working mother!).”

This unique cookbook has several healthy yet mouth-watering recipes in it  such as Huevos Rancheros, Hummus Tartine with Scallion-Mint Pesto, Salmon Burgers with Pickled Ginger, even Power Brownies, Banana "Ice Cream," and many more.

In fact, the actress turned 'Chef' is proud to present this collection and says it is a good mini encyclopedia of not just healthy but delicious and satisfying food.  Paltrow comments that “After a couple of years of happy hard work, I am totally over the moon to present It's All Good, a big collection of delicious, easy recipes I did with my pal Julia Turshen. The recipes contained within its pages are just right for the way we are meant to be eating these days - cleaner and healthier, without sacrificing any flavor or satisfaction. From salmon burgers to fish fingers to chocolate cake without any of the bad stuff, ladies and gentlemen- it's all good.”

The book is up for grab at a leading online store in India, Infibeam.com. Infibeam has a wide range of books on all sorts of genre, it truly is the best destination for all book-lovers.

The credit for the genesis of this book would have to go to someone to whom I would refer throughout as Swamiji. He has a real name and he has his own Ashram. Mumbai Confidential By Saurav Mohapatra And Artist Vivek Shinde Is Now Available At Infibeam

Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - 0 Comments

Ahmedabad, India; May 29, 2013: 'Mumbai Confidential' by Saurav Mohapatra is a crime noir comic book series, a genre that has faded in today's times but this book is surely to revive the magic of pulp fiction back into action. Vivek Shinde, the illustrator of this book, has rendered his best artistry which is in complete tune with the story line and in fact, adds to the drama, violence, sentiments and emotions expressed in the book.

The book revolves around the life of a Good Cop, Bad Cop and a Gangster living in the city of Mumbai, the city that is known for its extreme. Mumbai shares the legacy of being the most posh city with all the Bollywood stars living in it while it is also famous for its seedy and most populated locales and underworld. Vivek Shinde's art depicts these extremities of Mumbai city in a very apt and dramatic way.

Arjun Kadam, a rising police officer who has gained name in the Mumbai Encounter Squad falls from the grace as he gets into depression and drug addiction on account of the demise of his pregnant wife. Kadam becomes a hit-and-run victim and goes into a comma for a month. Once he gains consciousness he is infused with a new awakening and gets a sense of purpose. He pursues the investigation of the incident and makes his journey into the dark depths of the Mumbai City.

Here's what Sam Rhodes of Fanboy Comics had to say about Mumbai Confidential, "I'm not a noir expert, but I've seen the classics: Chinatown, The Maltese Falcon, Touch of Evil, Out of the Past.  You get the idea.  I love this genre, I love the thrills, I love the characters, the twists, the violence, and treachery.  It's a genre where nothing means what you think it means, and everyone has a secret, a dark past, and ulterior motives. It's a genre with a deep and ongoing history, and Archaia's new hardcover graphic novel, Mumbai Confidential, from writer Saurav Mohapatra and artist Vivek Shinde is an inky, burning fuse of a story that deserves a place alongside the classics."

The first installment of the Mumbai Confidential series is out with the title of Good Cop, Bad Cop. It is a must read for all the fans of the retro 'Pulp Fiction' world. This book is now available at the moment at the leading online shopping sites like infibeam.com.

Live The American Dream With Jay Gatsby In The Great Gatsby By F.Scott Fitzgreald

Saturday, May 4, 2013 - 0 Comments

The Great Gatsby is much in talk these days as the novel has been again adapted into a Hollywood movie starring super stars like Leonardo Di Caprio, Tobey Maguire etc. The major reason for the movie being in buzz in India is because it also stars Amitabh Bachchan in it who plays a minuscule role of Meyer Wolfsheim.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is undoubtedly an American classic novel and has rightly won the status of being the second best English Language novel of the 20th Century. Ever since its first publication the book has created a great buzz around the world. It shares the legacy of being an inspiration for making a movie on it for 5 times, several TV Series, Opera, Radio programs, Musical theatre, and also the latest being computer games.

The story primarily concerns itself with the affluent life style of Gatsby in U.S.A during the 'roaring twenties, the period which was named by Fitzgerald as 'the Jazz Age'. Jay Gatsby is a handsome young millionaire from North Dakota who is madly in love with Daisy Buchanan. Jay and Daisy had met during the World War-I, when he was stationed as a young officer in the south. After the war, he turns to shady business of bootlegging for getting rich and thereby trying to win over Daisy's heart again.

Daisy is an attractive woman but after the World War she marries another millionaire, Tom Buchanan. Jay and Daisy were involved in a romantic relationship before her marriage. When Jay comes back into her life as a millionaire she experiences a great conflict in choosing between her husband and Jay. What follow then is the prolonged ultra rich parties, great music and twist and turns that bring about the tragic end of Gatsby's life.

Cypherpunks: A Book From The Controversial Wikileaks Co-Founder Is Now Available At Infibeam

Wednesday, April 24, 2013 - 0 Comments

Ahmedabad, India; April 24, 2013: The much debated and controversial topic in discussion these days is about 'how safe it is to use the internet for sharing personal and public information?' Each day we communicate, produce and share plenty of information over the internet but is it safe to do so? For all those people who seek to find answers to such questions must read Cypherpunks: Freedom and The Future of The Internet by Julian Assange.

This book talks about the cyber security, growing surveillance, and the future of the internet. The book in fact serves as a warning that internet has become a tool of the police state and that the increasing use of it is leading the world towards totalitarianism. The primary concern of the book is society's relationship with the internet security. Google, Facebook, Twitter have become some of the utmost surveillance sites ever in the history and they carry much of personal and public data which can prove to be fatal for all. Cryptology according to them is a science that can save the world from becoming totalitarian.

As described by Oliver Stone, "Cypherpunks is gripping, vital reading, explaining clearly the way in which corporate and government control of the internet, poses a fundamental threat to our freedom and democracy". The book Cypherpunks: Freedom and The Future of The Internet is a conversation between Julian himself, a co-founder of WikiLeaks, Jacob Appelbaum (WikiLeaks/Tor Project), Andy Müller-Maguhn (Chaos Computer Club) and Jérémie Zimmermann (La Quadrature Du Net). These conversations are edited and presented together in thematic chapters for easy reading of the book. It is a genuine debate between the four of them with proper, well polished and convincing arguments.

The chapters deal in detail on topics such as The Militarization of Cyberspace, Fighting Total Surveillance with the Laws of Physics, Private Sector Spying, Censorship, The Internet And the Politics, The Internet and the Economics etc. According to Slavoj Žižek this book is an "Obligatory reading for everyone interested in the reality of our freedoms."

In short, in words of Naomi Wolf this book is “a wake-up call about a possible dystopian future, which is a technological reality now… While messengers of dangerous outcomes are always met at first with hostility and even mockery, history shows that we disregard such warnings as these at our peril." This book is now available in India on the popular online shopping portals like infibeam.com. Infibeam is one of the best online destinations for buying books as they cater to the needs of various book genre readers.

Infibeam makes available Kingshuk Nag's The Namo Story a Political Life

Monday, April 8, 2013 - 0 Comments

The only Minister in talks who is rightly eligible to stand in General elections 2014 is none other than Honorable Mr. Narendra Modi. Kingshuk Nag in the book The Namo Story a Political Life has written all about him. How he began his political career as an RSS pracharak to his increasing rise in the hindutva ranks and from being the most popular master planner of Bhartiya Janta Party and the controversial Chief Minister of Gujarat. He has handled things well. He brought many investors in Gujarat and his change and development program worked very well for him. Despite of his varied reactions on the Godhra incident he has made it to the 2014 General Elections.

These elections would be more of following the Presidential System which means you are either with him and vote for him or you are not with and vote for his opponent. This is how Modi's party works and this is his effect on the people. This is popularly known as the Modi Effect. This story of the most popular Indian Politician is about what role does money, religion, beliefs, and rising aspirations have in combined form to change the Indian Politics and the Indian economy in last 20 years.

But despite all this there are questions of what kind of Prime Minister would Narendra Modi be? He may have been the Chief Minister for Gujarat for three terms but he is not as intellectual as Manmohan Singh. Narendra Modi and Manmohan Singh both come from a rural background but Manmohan has studied at the top universities and has much more international experience as Finance Minister, Governor of RBI and Finance Secretary than Modi. Still Modi will be a tough competition to Manmohan Singh as he is garrulous and firm in what he does and what he wants to do. Know more in depth about Narendra Modi by ordering this book from Infibeam.
